The sample shall be identified with the batch and roll number from which it was cut and then placed in MIL-PRF-131 Class 1 bag. The sample shall be stored with the batch of material it represents.

5.61 Mechanical properties (UTS, YS, %E) in the Longitudinal and Long Transverse direction shall be reported and shall meet latest MMPDS requirements for "L" and AMS Specification requirements for "LT" grain direction.

5.62 Material shall be rolled from slabs made from casting lines #19 & #20 only.

5.63 Hydrogen content "H2" of cast slab shall be reported and shall be .15 cm3 / 100gr of metals or lower.

5.66 Certificate of Compliance from fabric manufacturer should state date of binder manufacture in order to establish bindered fabric shelf life.

5.67 Material 1/2 inch thick and greater shall be 100 percent ultrasonically inspected per AMS 2631 Class A1

5.71 A test report must be submitted for each truck load certifying it has been tested and meet specification requirements for undissolved water, sediment and suspended matter, density and electrical conductivity. 5.72 For round tube, the eddy current test shall be conducted in accordance with ASTM E 215. Each Length of tube, 1-1/2 inches or less in outside diameter and maximum wall thickness of 0.083 inch, shall produce eddy current indications less than those from the 2A holes of the applicable reference standard of ASTM E 215 or an equivalent secondary standard.

5.73 Approval of forgings is on a part-by-part basis. Refer to Table 14 (b) for approved part numbers. Hand forged billets/blocks without part numbers do not require approval on part-by-part basis.

5.74 For each lot, Bearing properties (Fbry, Fbru) with an e/D = 1.5 and e/D=2.0 in L-T direction shall be tested and reported and shall meet latest MMPDS requirements

5.75 Material shall be purchased certified to DHMS P1.48.

5.78 Specify Acrylic Adhesive

5.79 Material over 0.5 inch shall be 100 per cent ultrasonically inspected per AMS-STD-2154 Class A.

5.80 The material shall be shipped in a manner that assures transit and delivery at less than 10F (-12C). A continuous temperature recording device shall be included with each batch shipped.

5.81 Material shall have a maximum of 60 days of used storage life from the date of manufacture prior to shipment.

5.82 A Certifcate of Compliance to FAR Part 25, Paragraph 25.853, test methods as per Appendix F, Part I (a) (1) (ii) (vertical 12 sec.) with a coupon thickness of 0.25" +/- 0.01"

5.83 Manufacturer shall perform on every batch flammability test per FAR 25.853, test method and specimen configuration as per Appendix F, Part I (a) (1) (ii) (vertical 12 sec.) and submit report.

5.84 The manufacturer test report shall also include results for dry film properties of the batch acceptance tests of BAMS 565-015 applied over the specific batch of BAMS 565-008. Testing on Type I and Type II specimens of BAMS 565-015 may be omitted to certify the FR primer to BAMS 565-008.

5.85 The manufacturer shall perform all batch acceptance test specified in BAMS 532-040 Table 9. Requirements per BAMS 532-040 Class I, II or III, as applicable. The curing details and test methods shall be as defined in MAM-BA000-057. A test kit per BAMS 532-040 Section 11 shall also be supplied.

5.86 The manufacturer shall perform the following tests and issue a test report to the requirements of MAM-BA000-065 on each batch of sealant: application time, assembly time, standard curing rate and peel strength (7th set only).

5.87 Purchase order shall request conformance to L-P-410a and customer specification no. 22008. Customer specification no. 22008 includes a Bombardier approved sampling plan for lot acceptance testing.

5.88 The manufacturer shall perform all batch acceptance tests specified in BAMS 565-012 Table 5. Requirements per BAMS 565-012 Type II Grade 2.

5.89 Purchase order shall request conformance to L-P-410a and customer specification no. 22009. Customer specification no. 22009 includes a Bombardier approved sampling plan for lot acceptance testing.

5.90 Material must conform to DHMS P1.22 Type 1

5.91 A batch acceptance test report from the manufacturer is required for each lot or batch of material. Testing and requirements as specified in the Bombardier approved Process Control Document (PCD).

5.92 Manufacturer shall perform on every batch flammability test per FAR 25.856 and submit report

5.93 Each colour must initially be tested and provide 98% reflectance contrast ratio at 0.8 mils dry film thickness.

5.94 Precipitation hardened material may only be used when authorized by the Engineering Drawing. Material must be processed in accordance with and must meet the requirements of the specification AMS 5659/H1025.

5.96 Each lot of material shall be tested for density and compressive strength.
