PPS 13.39, Issue 6 - Bombardier Toronto Engineering Process ManualSummary of Changes:
- Specified that PPS 25.63 approval does not require Engineering Signature.
PPS 33.04, Issue 12 - Hard Chromium Plating (E2 and E9)Summary of Changes:
- Revised Facilities Requirements section to include reference to PPS 13.39 for additional requirements as this process is categorized as a Controlled Critical Process.
- Revised Facilities Requirements section wording.
- Specified that all testing and evaluation specified in PPS 33.04 shall only be performed by Bombardier Toronto Materials Laboratory or by laboratories accredited according to BAERD GEN-018.
- Added batch sampling schedule for visual and plating thickness inspection.
- Revised Personnel Requirements section to refer to PPS 13.39 for additional requirements as this PPS is categorized a controlled critical process.
PPS 35.07, Issue 17 - Requirements for Investment and Sand CastingsSummary of Changes:
- Revised Facilities Requirements section.
- Specified that this process is categorized as a Controlled Critical Process and referred to PPS 13.39 for additional requirements.
- Specified that all testing and evaluation specified in PPS 35.07 shall only be performed by the Bombardier Toronto Materials Laboratory or by laboratories accredited according to BAERD GEN-018.
- Specified Class definition for DASH 8 Q100, Q200, Q300 and Q400 for Radiographic testing applicability.
- Moved Definitions of Welding Defects section from the end of the PPS to section 5.
- Revised Production Lot sampling inspection section and table. Revised Inspection Schedule table (i.e., Class definitions for DASH 8 Q100, Q200, Q300 and Q400).
- Revised Note 4 in Table VI to remove reference to section 6.6.3.6.
- Revised Personnel Requirements section as follows:
- Specified to refer to PPS 13.39 for additional requirements as the process is categorized as a Controlled Critical Process.
- Deleted reference to AIA NAS-410, BAERD GEN-012, CAN/CGSB 48.9712, ASNT SNT-TC-1A and QDI-18-01.
- Radiographic examination requirements shall be as specified in PPS 20.10.
