PPS 22.12, Issue 7 - Preparation of Gerber LabelsSummary of Changes:
- Specified this should be a Controlled Special Process. Added new Facilities Requirements section to include reference to PPS 13.39 for additional requirements.
- Updated the current films utilized and the processing instructions.
- Added the detail for the application of DSC 85-4A overlaminate self-adhesive film using the RS Royal Sovereign 55" Cold Pressure Sensitive Wide Format Roll Laminator, RSC-1402CW. Deleted the manual method as it is no longer utilized.
- Revised Safety Precautions section.
- Deleted from the requirements section regarding specific areas when unacceptable labels should be re-applied or Liaison Engineering contacted. Such information should be in the label application PPS, not the label manufacturing PPS's.
- Revised Personnel requirements section.
PPS 31.04, Issue 27 - Degreasing Processes
Summary of Changes:
- Added relevant information for new vapour degreaser, Vertrel SDG Specialty Fluid (trans-1-2-dichloroethylene base).
