PPS Revision Notice #2017-035
PPS 21.03, Issue 33 - Priming, Sealing & Repair of Integral Fuel TanksSummary of Changes:
- Specified that all testing and evaluation specified in PPS 21.03 shall only be performed by Bombardier Toronto Materials Laboratory or by laboratories accredited according to BAERD GEN-018.
- Defined the term MRB in the Procedure General section so that it is not necessary to repeat throughout the document.
- Added new section 9 regarding disposal of chemical wastes.
- Replaced "Crown Metro" with "Akzo Nobel".
- Replaced "check" with "inspect" throughout.
- Revised primer repair section prior to sealing (paragraphs 5.3.1.3 & 5.3.1.4).
- Added new safety precautions statement.
- Specified to always use oldest stock first (i.e., first in/first out (FIFO) basis).
